Buying Solutions is the national procurement partner for all UK public services and is part of the Efficiency and Reform Group within the Cabinet Office. The aim of the Commoditised IT Hardware and Software framework is to simplify the IT procurement process and to ensure value for money. After an extremely stringent procurement process, European Electronique is now one of only twelve UK suppliers who have been awarded a framework agreement on Lot 1 – Desktop Hardware and only one of thirteen suppliers on Lot 2 – IT Infrastructure Hardware. The evaluation process was based on a varying range of criteria including Price Competitiveness, Customer Satisfaction, Sustainability Procurement Advice and much more.
