At European Electronique we have witnessed significant changes within the Higher Education sector over the last twenty years and have strived to consult with leading vendors and educational professionals to ensure the education IT solutions we deliver continue to meet the increasing demands of Universities.
We engage with all levels of University ICT structure to ensure we fully understand the demands on both the technical and procurement departments. We also recognise the current growing demand on the requirements for IT security and access control required due to students having their own laptops and printers etc.
Our extensive experience as education IT suppliers, and in particular within the Higher Education sector gives us an in-depth knowledge that enables us to advise and consult with clients to adapt policies and design IT systems that meet the demands of an ever changing IT environment.
Furthermore we are proud to be authorised on a vast array of national and regional framework agreements dedicated to servicing the Higher Education sector.
At European Electronique we recognise that Universities constantly strive to find ICT solutions that are cost effective, efficient and valuable to their educational IT environment. That’s why we work closely with organisations to overcome these challenges in line with the environmental issues that must be addressed and the imperative nature of sustainable solutions.
Many, if not all, Universities constantly strive to find solutions that strike a balance between low budgetary impact and appropriate functionality for their educational environment. We work with organisations to overcome these challenges in line with the environmental issues that must be addressed and the imperative nature of sustainable solutions.
There are currently two key areas affecting the HE sector for which we have implemented solutions to address these concerns; namely PC estate refresh, single or multi campus, and print/copy output. In many scenarios we have found that thin client technology addresses the growing concerns of power consumption and sustaining client fleets with refresh rates of up to 15 years. In addition, our “CampusJet” print and copy solutions sharply reduce wastage and overall institution spend on this function by 10- 40%.
We have a huge variety of innovative solutions implemented into the HE sector and our developers are forever the early adopters of emerging technologies within European Electronique to ensure we bring to the table the best of what is on offer.
