The National Computer Printer and Peripheral Agreement commenced on the 1 May 2007 for a period of two years (extendable to four) and is open to all institutions of Higher Education, the Research Councils and HE consortia-affiliated Colleges of Further Education.
The overall management of the Agreement will be via the NPA Group and comprising representatives from various consortia and institutions to reflect UK Institutional interests. Equipment under the letting and management of the agreement includes all standard printers, associated peripherals and add-ons including multifunctional functional devices.
The price element of the tender was carried out using an open-book methodology with a discounted pricing structure and ongoing price management and negotiation will continue on this basis.
