European Electronique is one of only 24 suppliers in the UK approved by The Department of Education under the "Approved Supplier for the Department of Education’s ICT Services Framework" ( http://tiny.cc/l4bdg). This Framework has been designed to help local authorities, regional broadband consortia, school consortia and academy trusts to purchase ICT and, as such, gives European Electronique an obligation to ensure that we continue to meet key benchmark tests and are declared competent to deliver to UK schools.
All our processes for delivery into the schools sector are FITS (ITIL) compliant and take full account of technical and functional specifications to ensure the ICT infrastructure will support and enhance learning, teaching and administrative tasks. We place the emphasis on the requirements of the user. Learners and educators need high quality resources to support them in their learning and teaching and administrators and institution managers need to be able to use ICT resources that allow them to undertake their work efficiently and effectively. However, within the scope of these processes, of note is our flexibility in adapting to last minute changes in technical requirements, along with our ability to cope with the pressure of timescales for delivery in the schools sector; taking into account exceptional demand for implementation in the summer, Easter, Christmas and half term holiday periods.
